A tragic accident occurred on the R37 Road in Ga-Mashamothane near Mesong Car Wash last night at 20:30, claiming the life of a bakkie driver.

According to reports, the bakkie was traveling at high speed from the Burgersfort direction when it suddenly veered off the road. 

The vehicle did not collide with any other object or vehicle but veered off the road, striking a small wall on the side. The impact caused the bakkie to overturn, resulting in the driver’s death at the scene.

The driver, who was traveling alone, was pronounced dead by emergency responders upon their arrival. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
