Juba sky is a song writer and the singer she started to write songs at the age of 12 years.Her real name is Smangele Surprise Muthwa and she was born on 198*may 19 in Kzn Ndwedwe.She move to Gauteng 2011 to find her self in music but she lost her father and brother in a short period then she decided to go back home to take care of her mother who is blind (she can't see).

Her calling in music never let her to rest she continue even after everything she is been through 

Music was a long journey for me I did send my track on my Ep, I send it to one of biggest record label they send me a contract to sign but they rob us in opening house party then I lost my phone with their contact and contract as well that how I lost the deal

My first project was a Ep of RnB there was one song which people love so much if I perform other tracks they will shout love is in the air means I must perform their song choice I didn't publish my project because I had to stop music and focus on my mother's health because after loosing my father and brother my mom was depressed she end up in hospital several times as I said she was blind(can't see) that was not a problem but the depression cause her to lost her memory, confusions, forgetting her self and to see things we don't see she end up in phycho clinic where she collect her medication every month.

My biological father died when I was 9 years but I never recognize him as my father because my step day was the best father ever they meet my mom when I was 1 year he started to take care of me and my mom my biological father was an emotional abuser he left my mom before I was born that how my step dad enter into our life and bring smile into my mom forever he treated me as his own daughter without him I won't know what is father's love means when I was 7 years we have been bless with my young sister Mukelisiwe Maphumulo .

Love of music and a calling was controling everything my cousin Mthobisi have a small studio I start releasing afro house with him he said to me all I want is the best for you we make the hit which is not out yet (uyakhala) the same hit push me to find another producers Qhawe Ngcobo , Sipho Mvuyane and Clockwise and we work together we release a hit song VULANI IMINYANGO.
